Happy Caturday, Snippetteers!
Hope you’re enjoying our last weekend before the dreaded clock-change. Spring Forward, IMO, is the worst part of the whole year.
Until then, though, we have snippets! Today I’m sharing another from the new story which I’m now calling #AF. It picks up immediately after last week’s (which you can find here). And I totally didn’t choose it because that means I didn’t have to search for a new picture. 😉
He turned, one eyebrow raised, and smiled. “Did you feel that?”
“Um, yeah.” I tried to keep up, even though men like him—svelte athletic types who can pull off trendy shaved-on-the-side-and-longer-on-top haircuts (hair styles?)—didn’t usually notice plain, doughy types like me.
He slowed down, his handsome face creasing in concern. “Sorry. If the spark came from me.”
Thanks for reading!
