After the shock…

Happy Caturday, Snippetteers!

Hope you’re enjoying our last weekend before the dreaded clock-change. Spring Forward, IMO, is the worst part of the whole year.

Until then, though, we have snippets! Today I’m sharing another from the new story which I’m now calling #AF. It picks up immediately after last week’s (which you can find here). And I totally didn’t choose it because that means I didn’t have to search for a new picture. 😉

He turned, one eyebrow raised, and smiled. “Did you feel that?”

“Um, yeah.” I tried to keep up, even though men like him—svelte athletic types who can pull off trendy shaved-on-the-side-and-longer-on-top haircuts (hair styles?)—didn’t usually notice plain, doughy types like me.

He slowed down, his handsome face creasing in concern. “Sorry. If the spark came from me.”

Thanks for reading!

To find links to more snippets, visit the Rainbow Snippets FB Group. It’s a public group and everyone is welcome to join.

Have a lovely weekend!

For a minute there I was looking for (hoping for) a cheesy pick up line but it looks like I’ve been denied.

Haha, these guys are in their 40s so less cheese comes out of their mouths (not none just a little less…maybe…).
