Charli Coty

LGBTQIA+ fiction with happy endings

A celebratory snippet!

12649563133_c2a35104e5_bHello Snippetteers!

Thanks for visiting! Today I’m sharing from a story that was just accepted for publication–it’s the same one I shared from on the first weekend of 2017. Yep, it’s the FF Paranormal Erotica short for NineStar Press’s upcoming anthology! This is probably the last taste I’ll share before July (when the antho is scheduled for release), because it’s not much longer than 5K words all together.

The deadline isn’t until March 31st, so if you write FF Paranormal (or you want to try it to see how it feels :)) you could still give it a shot. NSP has been great to work with. The submission page is here > click on the “Lesbian/Bi Paranormal” box to get to the specific call.

This snippet comes directly after the last one–the MC has offered her jacket to a woman who just might be standing in the Pacific off the Oregon coast without any clothes on.

I’ll what? I’m not a heartless bitch, but have never been the “shirt off my back” sort of person either. “And you can use my phone. If you need to. What’s your name?”

A sneaker wave crashed into her back and she stumbled forward a step to keep from falling. The water traced twisting patterns down her chest and around her breasts, her long blue hair curled around in front of her, caressing her sleek skin.

Thanks for reading!

Love the description. It’s very easy to visualise.

I’ve heard only good things about NineStar – congratulations on the publication news.

Woohoo! That’s good news. It sounds like a fun anthology, and a fun story! I’ve got to admit, I’d probably be a shirt of my back person, although…maybe there’s something to be said for delaying awhile. 😉

    Lovely description.

And now I’m curious to know if the woman in the water is a mermaid.

A very telling snippet. I love the way your Mc thinks about herself, and the other lady…ooh nice.
