A rough draft snippet!
Hello Snippetteers!
For our last weekend of 2016 and first of 2017, I’m sharing a new story. It’s so new, I haven’t even written 1,000 words as I’m posting this! I know the whole story, though, so now all I have to do is write it. No sweat. 😉
This pic is tied in to the story, sort of, but I’ll wait until it’s at least drafted before going into any detail. Don’t want to scare the story away! *lol* (<<< only half joking)
Please squint when you read this snippet–it’s rough because I just wrote it a few minutes ago.
A slightly wicked smile curled the corners of her mouth. She caught me watching, maybe a little too intently, and slowly drew her tongue across her bottom lip. “Yes. I could use some help.”
“Um…okay. Come on out of the water and I’ll give you my jacket.”
