This week for #QueerBlogWed I’m going to link you to a blog post that I truly love, and think is important. In fact, I’ve had a tab open for it since August. ❤
I’ve read some books with bisexual characters—intentionally seeking out those books—and found that in reviews the bi characters are either referred to as gay/lesbian or their sexuality is skirted entirely . I’m all for leaving the actual plot points of a book for readers to discover on their own, but many reviewers tell the whole story in their review. If they also leave out that a lead character is bisexual that blares like an airhorn in my head.
So, in my ongoing effort to stop myself from being erased, I’m sharing this blog. I couldn’t have said it better, and am glad I don’t have to try. 🙂
Please read, share, and enjoy.
